turquoise jewelry

I've spent the last 6 days in New Mexico, and I have to say I've begun
to appreciate turquoise jewelry. In fact, I'm nuts about everything colorful,
all of a sudden! So bring out the vivid blues, greens, even reds and purples!

Turquoise, topaz, emerlad, ruby, amethyst...pick a color and go with it-
You can't go wrong with bright colors to get you out of the winter mindset.
Spring is here and color goes with it.

Your jewelry pal,
Laura

  1. Turquoise Jewelry has remained at the height of fashion since ancient times; it is one of the oldest-known and most prized gemstones. Turquoise adorned the rulers of ancient Egypt, Persia, Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley, and was favored by many Native American cultures. It was also amongst the first gems to be mined, and some historic mines are still working today.
